Classified as South Asian cuisine this is on my list of must go to again places. Simple and inexpensive, the food is delicious and worth more than you’ll pay for your dinner.
An added benefit for some is that this is the first restaurant I’ve gone to where they’ll hold your five-month old while you finish off your dinner. I had one of the chicken options which was delicious and — for around $11 — came with curried chickpeas, rice and vegetables.
While the menu pictures on the front of the restaurant reminded me of a typical Chinese restaurant, the food was very atypical. Simply presented, but spiced tastily. The chicken was crispy out and juicy in with wonderful flavours.
It’s a small place inside with seating for maybe twenty or so patrons, but cosy and new family friendly. Definitely on my list of restaurants that I’d go back to any day.
For those that were hoping this would be a photography blog the images were taken with a Nikon D90 using a Nikon 50mm F/1.4 lens. Taken in fine capture, not raw and processed in about five seconds each using Google’s free Picasa. For free options, Gimp might be a more powerful tool for photo editing, but Picasa is so simple to do a couple of quick edits that unless I’m processing raw I won’t bother. Colour in the photo may not be exactly as seen and may suffer from overall hue problems, but I’ve never been trained at this stuff and am pretty lazy. I am doing some reading though and working a bit harder at some things.
